Every roll picks one random weapon from each of the four Rivals equipment slots — Primary, Secondary, Melee, and Utility — using the same weapon pool covered in the Weapon Tier List. It's a fun way to break out of a rut, practice with weapons you don't normally touch, or set yourself a challenge run in the private server.
Locking a slot keeps that weapon fixed while you reroll the others — handy if you already know you want to run Katana melee, for example, and just want a random gun to pair with it.
